Unidentified individuals cowardly murdered a magistrate in the commune of Pilate in the Nord department. The deputy judge of the Pilate Peace Court, Kestel Maxime was targeted in “Nan siklèt”, a locality in the commune, on April 23, 2024 in the morning. According to information disseminated by colleagues, the thugs were in balaclavas at the time of the attack. The victim, for his part, was on board a motorcycle.
Following this crime, the Superior Council of the Judicial Power (CSPJ) condemns this assassination, which it describes as cowardly. According to this structure, the victim embodied integrity in his jurisdiction.
