iciHaiti – Politics: Conille on inspection visit

On Tuesday, July 9, 2024, Garry Conille, made an inspection visit to Toussaint Louverture International Airport and the central office of the Directorate of Immigration and Emigration (DIE) in Lalue, as Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior.
Conille was accompanied in particular by his Chief of Staff and the Director General of the Ministry of the Interior.
The aim of this inspection visit was to inquire about the working conditions of DIE agents and the condition of the equipment and infrastructure used for passenger control.
The Prime Minister intends to address the various material and logistical constraints in order to improve working conditions and make the travel document process faster, more effective and efficient, both in Haiti and for the diaspora.
