“Grand-Anse, the South-East, Artibonite, the North-West, the Center and certain areas of the West department” are under threat of rain activities this Wednesday, July 10, 2024, announced the Hydrometeorological Unit of Haiti (UHM).
A convection zone located north of the island of Haiti and a trough east of Cuba characterize the weather conditions in the Greater Antilles, including Haiti, which is expecting showers.
These showers, which are expected in the late afternoon and evening in the departments mentioned above, “could spread to other departments,” warns the UHM in its Wednesday bulletin.
For Port-au-Prince and its surroundings, the UHM says it expects some showers in certain districts of the Haitian capital, where the maximum temperature could climb to 36 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature varies between 20 and 24 degrees Celsius.
