During her speech on the program “Le Point” on Télé Métropole, Dominique Dupuy, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Haiti, stressed her firm commitment to reforming Haitian diplomacy. She particularly highlighted the need to reestablish the principle of rotation, an essential pillar for revitalizing the diplomatic corps.
With the support of Prime Minister Dr. Garry Conille and his team, Ms. Dupuy aspires to project a positive image of Haitian diplomacy. Several diplomats have already been recalled as part of this revitalization. Ms. Dupuy insisted on the importance of diplomacy at the service of the country, aligned with the major projects of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT).
She also addressed the promotion of women in this sector, stressing that on the International Day of Women in Diplomacy, around thirty women were promoted to correct a historical imbalance.
