The PNH continues to count victims in its ranks. Indeed, police officers Fermetus Emelin, Piton Wilkens Jean and Clovis Peterson were killed in lower Delmas by the armed men of Jimmy Cherizier alias Barbecue, this Sunday June 9, 2024.
The information was confirmed by the head of the Haitian National Police Union, Lionel Lazarre. According to SYNAPOHA, these law enforcement officers, members of the Temporary Anti-Gang Unit (UTAG), were ambushed when the Barbecue henchmen opened fire on their armored vehicle.
One of the victims was burned inside the vehicle. Another died after being hit by a projectile. Already, in a viral video on the networks Barbecue claims the attack.
