They have, much better than us, learned the lessons of our painful past. They understood that to be well digested, Haiti must be served to them well cooked.
Their emissaries came to make sure to let us simmer until completely cooked, it is essential that Haiti be served to them. Well done! Presented in a dish of illusions drizzled with sauce made from the juice of our vicissitudes, embellished with a hint of statelessness and a tear of collective unconsciousness…
Ah! Dessert, what other than a crepe flambéed with our disagreements moistened with syrup of irresponsibility?
At the table, our guests are impatient! Let’s serve them a drink: As an aperitif, let’s fill their cup with the blood of our innocent victims. When they have emptied their cup and the banquet is over… Let us serve some more of this wine to their insatiable lackeys.
For my part, I am neither hungry nor thirsty and unfortunately I am not good at being a lackey.
