Contrasted performances for Haitian footballers in National

By Mythsouka Jean-Philippe

During the 31st day of French Division 3, Haitian footballers offered contrasting performances within their respective clubs.

At FC Versailles, Haitian international Mondy Prunier came on during the last 15 minutes of regulation time, helping to keep the score tied against US Orléans. Despite this solid performance, FC Versailles ranks 9th in the standings.

For his part, Leverton Pierre shone with US Avranches by delivering an assist for the only goal of the match against Villefranche, while Dany Jean came on in the 62nd minute. This contribution allowed US Avranches to position themselves in 12th place in the ranking.

On the other hand, Bryan Labissiere scored a crucial goal for SAS Épinal, contributing to his team’s 4-1 victory against Châteauroux. Despite this individual performance, SAS Épinal remains in difficulty, ranking 17th, in the red zone.

Finally, Martin Expérience, usual spearhead of SO Cholet, missed the match against FC Rouen 1899, which probably weighed on the final result, with a 2-1 defeat for his team. This poor performance keeps SO Cholet in a delicate position, in 18th place in the ranking.

Thus, this day highlighted the significant contribution of Haitian footballers within their respective clubs, with performances ranging from decisive to mixed, but also the challenges encountered by certain clubs to ensure their maintenance in French D3.
