This Monday, July 15, 2024, Prime Minister Garry Conille began a series of discussions with political actors by meeting with members of Pitit Desalin, including their Secretary General Jean Charles Moïse. The discussions focused on various topics, including the upcoming elections, security and the economy. This meeting is part of the consultations around the Agreement of April 3, 2024 and the major projects of the political transition.
Pitit Desalin members present included Emmanuel Vertilaire, the party’s representative on the Presidential Council, and the Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development. These consultations aim to strengthen dialogue and collaboration between the government and political parties to ensure a stable and successful political transition.
It is worth noting that Garry Conille also met with the RED/EDE political group on July 10, to discuss constitutional reform and upcoming elections.
