Prime Minister Garry Conille met with representatives of countries friendly to Haiti

The Prime Minister of Haiti, Garry Conille, hosted a working lunch with representatives of Haiti’s friendly countries and international organizations on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, during which he reaffirmed his commitment to public security, recovery social and economic, as well as the organization of elections.

“The Prime Minister took the opportunity to announce the action of his next government within the framework of the Agreement of April 3, 2024, focused in particular on security, social and economic recovery, food and health security, the conference national, the rule of law, constitutional reform, the organization of elections” indicates a note from the Prime Minister.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Garry Conille says he hopes for cooperation from Haiti’s partners with a view to implementing these major projects. In the end, he expressed the wish to strengthen the bonds of friendship and solidarity with the friendly countries of Haiti.

Recall that the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT) proceeded on Monday June 3 to submit the amplification of the decree appointing him as Prime Minister to lead the transitional government to Doctor Garry Conille.

This ceremony took place at the Welcome Villa, in the presence of members of the CPT, after a series of interviews with Doctor Garry Conille. These discussions helped define a road map aimed at resolving the persistent crisis in the country.
