On Wednesday June 5, 2024, Prime Minister Garry Conille met with representatives of Haiti’s friendly countries and international organizations during a working lunch. Among the guests were the ambassadors of France and Canada, Fabrice Mauriès and André Giroux, as well as other personalities from the international community. On this occasion, Mr. Conille outlined the main priorities of his future government.
Mr. Conille detailed the actions of his next government, in connection with the Agreement of April 3, 2024, focused on security, social and economic recovery, food and health security, the national conference, the rule of law, constitutional reform and the organization of elections.
In a press release, the Prime Minister announced this meeting, underlining the Prime Minister’s gratitude to friendly countries for their unwavering solidarity and friendship. The press release specifies that Garry Conille hopes for the cooperation of international partners to implement these major projects. He also expressed the wish to strengthen ties of friendship and solidarity with Haiti’s friendly countries.
