Through the document signed by the investigating Magistrate and her Registrar Me Analia Sylvain, they gave a “lift” of the committal warrant of May 2, 2024 issued against Nelly Verpile Boyer, requiring the accused to represent herself at all acts, of the procedure and on the execution of the Judgment as soon as required.

After the release of her client resulting from the request made by her lawyers, Me Verna Forestal suggested that the Secretary General of the Haitian Senate, Marie Nelly Verpille Boyer remains available for justice as part of the investigation. Which shows that she has nothing to do with the accusations of corruption made against them, said the Lawyer.

Marie Nelly Verpile Boyer, Secretary General of the Senate of the Republic, was accused of corruption in the management of the institution, according to investigation reports from the Anti-Corruption Unit, particularly with regard to the allocation of debit cards to employees and other executives of the Legislative Palace.
