The National Union of Haitian Police Officers (SYNAPOHA) announced this Thursday that it had taken note of the appointment and installation of divisional commissioner Frantz SAINT-ARMAND as new departmental director of Grand’Anse to the National Police of Haiti ( PNH).
The coordinator of SYNAPOHA, Lionel LAZARRE, hopes that Commissioner SAINT-ARMAND will work without delay to redress the police situation in Grand’Anse, facing serious problems under the leadership of the former departmental manager, Commissioner Edner Jacinthe LOUIS, strongly criticized by the population and the police officers assigned to the department.
Mr. LAZARRE declared that he remains convinced that, thanks to his experience, the new commissioner will listen to the police and collaborate with all sectors of the department in order to restore the police situation in the Grand’Anse of the country.
