Houses were burned, people injured during an invasion of armed bandits in Delmas 24
This Thursday, April 25, 2024, heavily armed individuals invaded part of the Nazon road passing through Delmas 24 and Carrefour de l’Aéroport. During this attack, several houses were set on fire and people were injured by bullets.
A local resident injured in the right arm accuses the government authorities of being responsible for this catastrophic situation. “If they assumed their responsibilities by obstructing thugs, today, I would not be in this lamentable situation” he laments.
According to the findings of a Juno7 reporter, at least ten people injured and at least 8 houses burned were recorded. Faced with this tense situation, local residents are forced to leave their homes so as not to be included on the list of victims.
At around 4 a.m. sharp, three (3) armored vehicles were noticed at Delmas 24 and at Carrefour de l’Aéroport. Of the police officers used tear gas to control the situation.
