Penultimate in the Irish championship, Drogheda United scored an important 3-1 victory against Sligo Rovers. Frantz Pierrot scores his second goal in the club’s color.

It was William Fitzgerald who sparked hostilities for Sligo Rovers in the 6th minute before Darrah Markey scored the equalizer in the 24th minute for Drogheda United. Frantz Pierrot in the 69th minute gave his teammates the lead following a penalty well converted by the Haitian international. To seal the victory, Aaron McNally scored the third goal in the 86th minute.
