In a room full of people, the organizing members of the eighth edition of Gala Dynastie wanted to honor, on April 27, 2024, the late singer Michaël Benjamin known as Mikaben by awarding him the Dynastie Heritage Prize. To pay tribute to his memory, singer Marco Volcy performed several of his pieces as part of this activity.
With more than ten recipients, the Dynasty Gala, which aims to bring black excellence to the forefront, also has a section to honor exceptional personalities. Among those honored during this edition, we find the singer Mikaben. The latter was greeted by the voice of Marco Volcy through some of his hit titles.
Presented by SODEC, the Icône Dynastie Prize was awarded to the famous singer Corneille; the Doudou Boicel prize, presented by TD, was presented to Oliver Jones and that of the Héritage Dynastie Prize, in honor of Mikaben, was presented by Héma-Québec.
Mikaben, Haitian singer, composer and musician, has had a brilliant career in the music sector. The voice of “Ayiti se” has carried Haitian cultural heritage on an international scale through its achievements.
