First edition of MIH Expo: a resounding success at the El Rancho Convention Center.

The first edition of MIH Expo, organized on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at the El Rancho Convention Center by EGM Strategy & Management, was a resounding success. Thousands of people attended this event, marking its importance and appeal to the Haitian public.

Emmanuel Grégory Morissette, General Coordinator of MIH Expo, expressed his satisfaction in an interview with Juno7 after the event closed. “It was a success. We had over 2,700 participants over the day and there were 71 participating companies. I think it’s a good result. Next year we will improve to hold this activity over two days,” he said.

Mr. Morissette also stressed that the objectives set for this first edition were achieved, while acknowledging that there are aspects to improve to make the event even more satisfying for participants. The feedback was largely positive before, during and after the event, with participants expressing their satisfaction to Maxime Louissant, Juno7 reporter.

He also expressed his gratitude to all the other sponsors and partners who contributed to the success of the event.

In conclusion, Emmanuel Grégory Morissette thanked the public, the exhibitors and all those who worked to make this event a success. “If we have a better environment, a better climate, we can go further to carry out such an activity in Port-au-Prince or in provincial cities,” he added.

It is worth noting that during this edition, Prime Minister Garry Conille, Minister of Commerce James Monazard, Presidential Advisor Lesly Voltaire, as well as other personalities and members of the government were present, stressing the importance of this event for the economic and industrial development of the country.
