Women’s Champions League: Olympique Lyonnais validates its ticket for the semi-finals

Olympique Lyonnais dominates its opponent in the quarter-final 2 wins to zero to advance to the semi-final. Benfica Lisbon suffered the law of fenottes 4-1 this Wednesday at OL Park. Corventina Dumornay played 45 minutes.

In a match where the ineffectiveness of the Lyonnaises stood out, especially in the first half, with many missed situations. That doesn’t prevent Sonia Bompastor’s players from beating Benfica Lisbon 4-1 with a double from Delphine Cascarino. Corventina Dumornay started on the substitutes’ bench and entered in the 46th minute of play in place of Eugénie Le Sommer.

A change that is good for OL. Melchie Daelle Dumornay, with her quality helped OL maintain offensive pressure on Benfica, despite the Portuguese team being very disciplined in their play. On several occasions, she orchestrated attacks that could unlock OL, but the defense opponent was present.

OL won the quarter-final hands down with two victories. The Bompastor gang will face PSG in the semi-final for a CLASICO of French women’s football.
