The Representatives of the Association called “Youth Dedicated to the Renaissance of Haiti (JEDRHA)” said they opted for the designation of Smith Magny as Prime Minister in the Next Transitional Government. THE HAITI FACTOR, April 23, 2024._While waiting for the installation of the Presidential Council, Haitian socio-political groups are exploring avenues to occupy the post of Prime Minister. This is the case of the Association “Youth Devoted for the Renaissance of Haiti (JEDRHA).
On the sidelines of a press conference given on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Delmas, the leaders of the Association describe the profile of the next Prime Minister of Haiti. According to Richemond Joseph, the next head of Government of the Republic should be Smith Magny.
During this media outing, the Political Activist asked Dr. Smith Magny to make himself available to the country to occupy this position.
According to Richemond Joseph, Mr. Magny reflects the ideal choice of several youth organizations who want to participate in the success of the Presidential Transitional Council.
In his opinion, Smith Magny is a man of consensus, a unifier who knows the State well and could help the Presidential Advisors resolve the various crises facing the country.
Members of JEDRHA, Richemond Joseph and Tony Boyer say they endorse the latter’s candidacy after noting the exclusion of the youth sector in the formation of the Council.
« In addition to a politician, Smith Magny is a skilled technician. This is why we recommend to the parties which constitute the presidential structure to choose Mr. Magny to be the next head of Government, because he meets all the possible conditions.they said.
To validate this choice, they announced soon the joint signing of a document by all representatives of organizations and youth groups who support the person concerned.
