Port-au-Prince, Sunday April 21, 2024 ((rezonodwes.com))–After the forced closure of the Haitian General Hospital, a new wave of terror is shaking the Haitian health system. During the night from Saturday to Sunday, bandits, in full curfew, launched an assault against the premises of the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy of the State University of Haiti.
This event follows a series of attacks on national institutions, including the National Library and, more recently, the National Press.
The Faculty of Medicine is now the latest victim of repeated attacks by organized criminal gangs G9 and allies renamed “Viv Ansanm”, even defying the curfew instituted by the de facto Tèt Kale 3 bis government.
The terrorists, operating in the middle of the night despite the restrictions in force, allegedly took away essential equipment for medical studies. These acts of vandalism are part of a broader context where impunity reigns, as highlighted by Dr. Josué Renaud, who described Haiti as ” lost territory programmed under the macabre regime PHTK-Tèt Kale 1, 2 & 3″.
