Armed individuals murdered on the morning of Tuesday April 23, 2024, Kétel Maximé, Judge at the Court of Peace of Pilate, Commune of the Northern Department of Haiti. Information collected by the online newspaper LE FACTEUR HAITI from several local sources confirm that he was shot and killed by armed civilians between the areas called “Nan Siklèt” and “Palan”.
THE HAITI FACTOR, April 23, 2024._The news spread like a bomb this Tuesday morning in Pilate, a commune in the Northern Department of the country.
Judge Kétel Maximé, working at the Pilate Peace Court, was assassinated in the morning by armed men wearing balaclavas, notables of the said Commune tell us.
He was shot dead between the areas called “Nan Siklèt” and “Palan”, not far from the town of the city, confirm several local sources contacted by telephone by the editorial staff of the online newspaper LE FACTEUR HAITI.
At the time of the armed attack orchestrated by several individuals, Mr. Kétel Maximé was on board a motorcycle in the company of the driver who was transporting him to his office.
