Special national championship: The Ouanaminthais punished by the Lions of the salty earth

In a thrilling match on the 7th day of the Haitian national championship, Racing FC des Gonaïves took over Ouanaminthe FC with a 3-2 victory at Parc Stenio Vincent. From the start of the match, the home team imposed its rhythm with a quick goal in the 4th minute, scored by Oscar Jean Maxon, followed by Alcius Wuidens in the 37th minute and Jhon Eliavon in the 42nd minute.

Despite the efforts made by Ouanaminthe FC to get back into the match, notably with goals from Loubens Sinor in the 86th minute and Roobens Philogene in the 90th minute, Racing FC held on and preserved their lead until the final whistle. .

This victory allows Racing FC des Gonaïves to consolidate its position in fourth place in the North group with 9 points, while Ouanaminthe FC remains third with 10 points, just behind AS Capoise which has 11.

For the last day of this phase, Racing FC will face FICA, a team already excluded from the race for the play-offs. Meanwhile, Ouanaminthe FC will have a tough challenge when they take on AS Capoise, in a deciding match that could have a major impact on the final group standings.
