Richemond Joseph submitted the documents confirming the candidacy of Smith Magny for the post of Prime Minister

Candidate for the post of Prime Minister, Smith Magny officially submitted his documents on Monday May 6, 2024 at the Villa d’Accueil (in Musseau, Delmas 60), provisional headquarters of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT). It was the Coordinator of the structure called “Youth Devoted for the Renaissance of Haiti (JEDRHA)” bringing together several civil society organizations, Richemond Joseph who submitted them.

THE HAITI FACTOR, May 6, 2024._The Office of the Transitional Presidential Council received this Monday, May 6, the submission of documents confirming the candidacy of Smith Magny for the post of Prime Minister.

At the head of the group of young people called “Jeunesse Dévoué pour la Renaissance d’Haïti (JEDRHA)”, the deposit of documents at the Villa d’Accueil was made by Richemond Joseph, accompanied by other representatives of organizations of the Haitian civil society.

At the microphone of journalists, the Coordinator of JEDRHA, Richemond Joseph confirmed that he had submitted all the required documents on behalf of the candidate.

There are 18 of them, including a letter confirming Smith Magny’s intention to run for the Prime Minister’s office and his final tax declaration, among others.

« The submission of the file of Dr Smith Magny, candidate for the post of Prime Minister, is made according to the Agreement of April 3 entitled “Political Agreement for a Peaceful and Orderly Transition”, suggested Richemond Joseph into the microphone of journalists.

The political activist portrays Smith Magny as someone who, in concert with the Presidential Advisors, can help Haiti regain its health on the socio-political, economic and security levels, among others.
