The musical chair farce continues…
The EDE/RED/Compromis coalition sent a third name to Caricom as part of the formation of the Presidential Council to lead the transition in Haiti. This is the former ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Smith Augustin, who replaces the off the cuff Dominique Dupuy.
She was forced to retract for not having met the constitutional criteria.
The representative of Haiti to UNESCO had replaced on the list of applicants the former minister Ghisleine Mompremier dismissed for obscure reasons by the leaders of this coalition formed at the last minute in order to benefit from a seat within this structure for this multi-headed structure.
