Thus, the specialist advises increasing your intake of proteins. This can be done by eating chicken, eggs, sardines… They will give you the energy you need to last between two meals, without feeling hungry!

Protein is not digested as quickly as fattening sugars. The idea is then to slightly lower your sugar (carbohydrate) intake while increasing your protein intake.

Another idea to deconstruct: to skip a meal does not make you lose weight !

Skipping lunch or dinner helps reduce your calorie intake, but this technique risks starving you. Once hunger sets in, you risk eating large quantities at the next meal or snacking before this meal.

Take the time to have dinner or lunch, at the table, with a starter made with raw vegetables, a dish with proteins, starches and vegetables. A dessert is also possible to add a touch of sweetness.

It is also important to go to bed relatively early. Indeed, by going to bed late, you disrupt the functioning of your hormones: leptinresponsible for satiety and ghréline, responsible for hunger. By hanging out in the evening, leptin is no longer produced and ghrelin is activated. This may lead you to snacking, which is not ideal if you want to lose weight.

Finally, don’t forget, if you want to lose weight, you have to arm yourself with patience. Express diets make you lose water and muscle. Real weight and fat loss takes place over several months. Courage !
