Like many institutions, the French embassy in Haiti seems to be outraged by the tragic assassination of the three UTAG police officers last Sunday. In a note, the French diplomatic representation in Haiti presents “its most sincere condolences to the director general of the PNH following this tragedy”. She also extends her condolences to all the police officers who mourn their brothers in arms, brutally murdered.
“France will continue to support and act to strengthen the Haitian Police,” we can read in a message posted on the X account of the French ambassador in Port-au-Prince, Fabrice Mauriès.
It should be noted that after the OPC, the FJKL demanded the dismissal of the DG of the PNH for his incompetence, after the assassination of the 3 police officers last Sunday. In a press release, the FJKL considers that Frantz Elbé has failed in his mission.
