Haiti – Politics: The UN congratulates the publication of the decree creating the Presidential Transitional Council

UN Secretary-General António Guterres welcomes the April 12 publication of the decree officially establishing the Transitional Presidential Council and urges all Haitian stakeholders to continue to make progress in establishing transitional governance arrangements, including the timely appointment of an interim Prime Minister and government, as well as the appointment of members of the Provisional Electoral Council.
