White House :
Thursday April 25, 2024, the White House welcomed the swearing-in of the Presidential Transitional Council on Thursday, calling it major progress towards the holding of elections. “Today marks a crucial step towards free and fair elections”

The United States Ambassador to Haiti Hankins said he was happy to attend the installation ceremony of the Presidential Transitional Council (CPT). He congratulates the members of the CPT for having worked together to achieve this important milestone for the Haitian people. Ambassador Hankins looks forward to presenting his credentials to the CPT soon.
