Hati-Securit: Garry Conille bets on Kenyan police to recover territories lost from gangs

The first contingent of Kenyan police officers who landed in Haiti yesterday Tuesday received on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at the Mission base in Clercine, the visit of a delegation from the Haitian Government headed by Prime Minister Garry Conille. During the visit, the tenant of the Prime Minister’s office said he was counting on the Multinational Mission led by Kenya to “regain control of the Haitian territory house by house, neighborhood by neighborhood and city by city”, among others.

THE HAITI FACTOR, June 26, 2025._“The State will regain control of Haitian territory house by house, district by district, city by city.” This is the declaration made on Wednesday June 26, 2024 by Prime Minister Garry Conille during a visit to the foreign troops base built in Clercine.

During the visit, the Head of Government was accompanied by the Minister of Justice, Me Carlos Hercule, and the Acting Director General of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) Rameau Normil, among others.

Present at the installation site, Garry Conille wished to express the solidarity and recognition of his Government and the Haitian people to the Multinational Mission for Security Support in Haiti.

In addition, the head of government reiterates his firm will and determination to do everything possible, with the support of the Mission, to restore peace and security in Haiti.

Prime Minister of his State, Garry Conille asks the Haitian population to remain confident and to keep calm, because the police officers of other nations who will be part of the Mission will engage alongside the Government to restore security in the country.

In conclusion, he confirmed to the press that he is already in discussions with the High Command of the Haitian National Police in order to make all arrangements so that the police officers are provided with equipment to carry out the operations.
