The resigning Minister of Finance and the Economy, Michel Patrick Boisvert, was appointed interim Prime Minister by decree on Wednesday April 24, 2024.
Boisvert replaces Dr. Ariel Henry in this position, who resigned and that of his government in a letter dated April 24, 2024.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Communication, Patrick Boisvert will remain in office as Prime Minister ai until the appointment of a new government by the Presidential Transitional Council which was sworn in this Thursday, April 25 at the presidential palace.
