By Mythsouka Jean-Philippe

Montpellier Hérault SC won today in its clash against AS Saint-Étienne as part of the penultimate day of D1 Arkema. Haitian internationals Kethna Louis and Nérilia Mondésir shone on the field for Montpellier, while Amandine Pierre-Louis represented AS Saint-Étienne.

The match was marked by an exceptional performance from Nérilia Mondesir, who scored a crucial goal and delivered an assist, before giving way to Judith Coquet in the 84th minute. For her part, Kethna Louis was replaced by Mille Gejl in the 77th minute, while Amandine Pierre-Louis gave way to Jordy Benera in the 76th minute.

This victory provides a final shine to the season for Montpellier, but unfortunately, it is not enough to allow them to access the playoffs which would open the doors to the UEFA Women’s Champions League. Despite this, the impressive performance of the team, particularly that of its Haitian international players, testifies to their talent and determination on the field.
