Bronchitis is an inflammation of the bronchi, most often of viral origin.

Eucalyptus essential oil

Eucalyptus essential oil is known for its positive effects on coughs in cases of pharyngitis, bronchitis or sinusitis. It is very expectorant and therefore facilitates the clearing of the respiratory tract.

It is also found in many medications indicated to relieve stuffy noses and coughs (drops, capsules for inhalation).

To relieve your cough and/or stuffy nose, pour 12 drops of eucalyptus essential oil into a large bowl of hot water. Then inhale the water vapor for a few minutes. Do three a day.

Cinnamon essential oil

The cinnamon is a spice widely used in cooking but you should know that it also has therapeutic virtues. Cinnamon essential oil may be helpful in stopping the spread of pathogens in the respiratory tract.

In other words, it is a natural antibacterial. To relieve the symptoms of your bronchitis, use cinnamon essential oil in an air diffuser or inhale the steam of hot water into which you have previously poured a few drops of cinnamon essential oil.

Rosemary essential oil

The rosemary is a plant found all over the world. It has the power to relax the muscles of the trachea, which has the effect of calming coughs for a moment.

To relieve your cough, inhale water vapor into which you have poured a few drops of rosemary essential oil.

You can also dilute a few drops of this oil in vegetable oil. Then apply this mixture to your chest.

Thyme essential oil

Thyme is a natural antimicrobial agent effective against respiratory infections.

To benefit from all the benefits of thyme essential oil, a study recommends diffusing it in the air at high concentration for a short time.

Peppermint essential oil

The essential oil of pepper mint is widely used to decongest the nose and unclog the bronchi. It can be used in an air diffuser or in inhalation.
