This Monday, April 22, 2024, the Champ-de-Mars was the scene of clashes between armed bandits and the police. Once again, thugs attacked the National Palace.
According to available information, due to repeated attacks by heavily armed men against the Presidential Palace, the installation ceremony of CP members will no longer take place this week. Security experts reportedly advised actors involved in the Presidential Council to choose another location for the installation.
Definitely, the armed gangs do not intend to sit still. They challenge the authorities concerned, to the point of pushing them to redefine everything. In the meantime, the international community does not seem to want to really help Haiti emerge from the chaos.
