According to details from Carlo Guirand, Myrthil Marcelin known as “Arab” was arrested in a locality called “Demapou” by a “Backup”. Videos that have gone viral show Arab handcuffed accompanied by several police officers at the Les Cayes police station.
In recent days, Marcelin was widely seen during the latest demonstrations aimed at forcing the departure of Prime Minister Ariel Henry. He is always armed with machetes making death threats. This political activist close to the former first lady Martine Moïse, very present on social networks, had distinguished himself especially in the distribution of machetes in certain neighborhoods of the metropolitan area as part of the “Bwa Kale” movement launched by the population in the metropolitan area against bandits and kodnappers.
