UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urges new Haitian authorities to “accelerate the full implementation of transitional governance arrangements” and quickly deploy a multinational security mission to help address the “disastrous” situation , informed his spokesperson on Thursday.
“The Secretary-General calls on all Member States to ensure that the multinational security support mission receives the financial and logistical support it needs to succeed,” said UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric.
